How does pre-lodgement work?

You capture the declaration header and line items, upload supporting documents, and submit for pre-lodgement. The clearing desk then advances the file through in-clearance, cleared and released, with every change recorded on a timeline.

How are duty and VAT calculated?

Duty is calculated on the CIF value at the tariff rate for each HS code, and VAT is calculated on the duty-inclusive value (CIF plus duty). Totals are computed server-side so the figures on screen match the declaration.

What does bonded fulfilment do for cash flow?
